The VoiceGuy is in transition to a new hosting service and a new look. After almost 2 years, we’re leaving Bryght hosting, and York University, my employer, is picking up the hosting. Exciting and busy days ahead for me, transferring over all the content from the old host. Stay tuned.

The VoiceGuy is Eric Armstrong’s site about Voice, Speech, Language and Dialects for Professional Actors, Actors-in-Training, and voice users of all types who want to better their voice. Though the site has been on hold since summer of 2008, we’re not moving over to new servers, and there should be new material coming online soon.

The main goals of the site for 2007-08 was to create a blog and podcast on Voice and Speech for actors. The blog came out at least once per week for most of the second half of 2007, with audio and video support when possible. The VoiceGuy continues to be a resource of voice and speech warm-up and workout materials that users of the site can access.
